MoveReady ("we", "us", "our") operates the MoveReady mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App processes and how that information is handled.

Summary

• MoveReady is designed as a local-first home inventory app.
• Your property, room, item, photo, note, serial number, value, and attachment data are stored locally on your device.
• The App does not require an account and does not provide sync or cloud backup in the current version.
• The App does not use third-party advertising SDKs or analytics trackers.

Information Processed By The App

• Inventory data: Property names, room names, item names, notes, serial numbers, estimated values, photos, and attachments such as receipts, warranties, and manuals.
• Export data: If you generate an export pack, the PDF file is saved locally on your device until you delete it or remove the App.
• App preferences: Settings such as default currency, onboarding state, and similar local app preferences.
• Device locale signals: The App may use your device region or locale to suggest a default currency and localized copy. This is used locally by the App.

Photos, Camera, And Files

The App only accesses the camera, photo library, or document picker when you choose to capture or import content. Imported photos and files are stored locally in the App's on-device data store so they can be attached to your home inventory record.

Notifications

The App may ask for permission to send local notifications so it can remind you to continue building your record. These notifications are scheduled on-device. The current version does not use remote push notifications for inventory reminders.

Purchases

MoveReady offers in-app purchases through Apple's StoreKit framework. Apple processes billing, payment method details, and subscription or purchase transactions under Apple's own terms and privacy practices. The App checks entitlement status locally to determine whether premium features are unlocked.

No Accounts, No Sync, No Cloud Backup

The current version of MoveReady does not require account creation, login, cloud sync, shared access, or cloud backup. Your inventory data stays on your device unless you explicitly export or share it yourself.

How Data May Leave Your Device

Your data stays local unless you take an action to share it. For example, if you generate an export pack and use the iOS share sheet, the selected export file may be shared with destinations you choose, such as email, Messages, Files, or another app.

Third-Party Services

The App does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. Apple services may be involved when you use platform features such as StoreKit purchases, the camera or photo library picker, document import, notifications, and the iOS share sheet.

Data Retention And Deletion

Locally stored inventory records remain on your device until you delete them in the App or remove the App from your device. Generated export PDFs remain in the App's local export folder until you delete them. Deleting a property, room, item, or attachment in the App removes that data from the App's local store.

Children's Privacy

MoveReady is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the revision date shown on this page.
